Policy Pal reads a privacy policy or terms page and surfaces the few clauses that would change your mind — each one quoted from the document itself.

The Policy Pal side panel: a Notable verdict reading “Your activity follows you beyond this service”, two ranked findings with expandable source quotes, and the standard questions answered Yes, No, Partly, or Not stated.
A real report: the verdict first, then the evidence behind it.

Every report ends in one word

  1. StandardNothing here goes beyond the norm.
  2. NotableWorth knowing before you accept.
  3. ConcerningTerms that work against you.
  4. SevereRights you would not knowingly give up.
  5. UnclearThe document does not say enough to tell.

The problem

Nobody reads them. Everybody signs them.

Policies are long, uniform, and written to be skimmed past. The clause that matters — the one about arbitration, or automatic renewal, or what happens to your data after you leave — reads exactly like the forty clauses around it.

A summary makes a long document shorter. Policy Pal does the harder job: it separates the ordinary from the consequential, and shows you the sentence it based that on.

How it works

One click, then about a minute.

Policy Pal stays out of the way until you ask it for something.

  1. 01

    Open a policy

Policy Pal recognises privacy policies and terms pages. It does not read the rest of your tabs.

  2. 02

    Ask for the analysis

Choose Analyze this policy. Your anonymous installation token is created at that moment — not when you install.

  3. 03

    Read the verdict

The panel sits beside the document, so you can check any quote against the source without leaving the page.

What you get

A report built in decision order.

The conclusion first, the reasoning under it, the evidence under that. You stop reading the moment you have what you need.

○ Verdict

One word, then one sentence

Standard, notable, concerning, severe, or unclear — followed by the single most important thing this document does.

▲ Findings

Five findings at most

Only clauses that would change a reasonable person’s decision. Each says what it means for you, and whether it is common or rare.

❝ Evidence

A quote behind every claim

Every finding carries the sentence it rests on. If Policy Pal cannot verify that sentence in the document, it drops the claim instead of guessing.

Privacy

Questions

Worth asking before you install.

Short answers here. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Does Policy Pal read every page I visit?

No. It sends one document — the policy you explicitly asked it to analyze. It does not collect browsing history, and it does not read pages you did not submit.

Can the analysis be wrong?

Yes. It is automated, and it is not legal advice. That is exactly why every claim carries the quote it came from: you can check the report against the document in a couple of seconds, rather than trusting it.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no password. A random installation token is created in your browser the first time you run an analysis, and that is the whole identity system.

What happens if I switch computers?

Install Policy Pal in the new browser and restore your subscription with the email you used at Stripe checkout. We send a six-digit code to that address.

Which browsers does Policy Pal support?

Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium browsers through the Chrome Web Store, plus Firefox through Mozilla Add-ons, including Firefox for Android.

How much does Policy Pal cost?

One analysis is free every calendar month. Beyond that it costs $9.99 per month for up to 100 successful analyses, cancellable from inside the panel.

What happens if I delete everything?

Your installation token, saved reports, and subscription link are removed from the browser. An active subscription is scheduled to cancel at the end of the period you have already paid for before the deletion finishes.

Install Policy Pal, open any privacy policy or terms page, and your first report is free.
